Storyline

The movie traces the life of punctual,efficient bodyguard Lovely Singh(Salman Khan)who's as mechanical and dumb as robots could be.He is assigned to protect Divya(Kareena Kapoor),the daughter of businessman-politician Raj Babar,the later of whose dept.Lovrly can't seem to repay.At first the bodyguard's over protective nature can irks Divya to no end,and this is when she starts a series of pranks that end up changing her life-and her life the madly fill in love with Lovely Singh.
Yes, Bodyguard is laced with the typical blend of action,romance,emotion and comedy like this. Bodyguard is rest on Salman Khan's star power.Yes,there are a couple of speed breakers in the form of abrupt songs thrown into mix.But there's one main ingredient in the whole of this film that makes it different from all of the logic-defying South remakes and masala films and that's over powering the romantic on screen chemistry between Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Overall this movie brings back the romantic Salman Khan that we have seen over the teener of his acting career with brilliant films like Sajan,Maine Pyar kiya and Hum aapke hain kaun and depsite that it does have lot off randomness thrown in middle,it works largely because of Salman Khan's towering yet restrained performance,Kareena Kapoor's powerhouse presence at the firebrand chemistry between of two,making a very sensitive woven romantic drama amidst all the action, homor.
